The CEPSA STAR card provides a Technical Assistance Service on the road, with coverage throughout peninsular Spain, Andorra and the Balearic Isles.

This service provides the card holder the following advantages:

• Breakdown coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
• Repairs to the vehicle at the place of the breakdown.
• Towing the vehicle, if necessary.
• Rescue of the vehicle.
• Sending spare parts.
• Financial payout of up to 50,000 pesetas in the event of rescue and towing of the vehicle, when a tow-truck is required. That payment is according to the litres supplied using the card the preceding month:

For entitlement to assistance, the holder must have used the CEPSA STAR card, it must be in force and the vehicle must be more than 50 kilometres from the home of the card holder.

Likewise, to take advantage of the payment, at least 50 litres must have been billed on the card the preceding month, and the service must be requested through the Breakdown Technical Assistance provider hired by CEPSA, which is the company ERS.SPAIN, S.A.
