Quality
CEPSA Química has developed a quality management system based on the ISO 9000 family of regulations.
The main purpose of this system is to guarantee that the products and services sold meet the customer¿s present and future needs and exceed their expectations.
The Quality Management System applies to all activities related to the quality of the products and services manufactured and sold by CEPSA Química during all phases of the production process, including, where applicable, purchasing, manufacturing, inspection, warehousing, packaging, shipping and marketing.

The CEPSA Química Occupational Risk Prevention Management System, certified according to the strict standards of OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series), sets out the actions required, so that its centres¿ activities do not have negative effects on people, facilities, production or the environment.
The safety policy is an inherent part of every activity, preventing risks at source, assessing and updating people¿s aptitudes and knowledge in line with their posts, planning work and ensuring everybody is involved.

CEPSA Química, in its industrial activities, is especially concerned about caring for the environment, promoting continuous improvement in its environmental practices and involving its employees in the development of the Environmental Policy.
Choosing the best available techniques to optimise processes and, consequently, conserve natural resources, through lower consumption of raw materials and the use of cleaner fuels, contributes significantly to minimising the impacts of our activities, guaranteeing sustainable development.
The CEPSA Química Environmental Management System, certified according to the ISO 14001 standard, applies to its production centres in Guadarranque (San Roque), Palos de la Frontera (Huelva) and Puente Mayorga (San Roque) and all of its facilities have Integrated Environmental Authorisation, applying the principles of environmental risk prevention and control throughout the organisation.

The Responsible Care programme is a voluntary initiative of chemical companies aimed at ensuring that member companies continually improve in the performance of their activities, with regard to protecting Health and Safety and the Environment, in line with the principles of Sustainable Development.
Responsible Care is a worldwide programme that is applied in 53 countries around the world under the management of a single international programme. In Spain it is coordinated by the Spanish Chemical Industry Business Federation (FEIQUE).
CEPSA Química has been a member of this programme since 1992. It performs an annual self-assessment in order to measure progress in the areas of Environmental Protection, Health and Safety at Work, Process Safety and Emergency Response Services, Distribution, Product Protection and Communication.
