The supplier approval process

In order to access the supplier approval process, General Terms and Conditions for CEPSA materials purchases and service agreements must be accepted.

The supplier approval process is normally divided in two phases:

1. Registration

To register its suppliers, CEPSA uses the RePro system, an external online supplier database used by the main energy sector companies. Depending on the vendor´s activity potential risk for CEPSA and the economic volume level, the supplier registration process may comprise several phases:

  • Pre-registration phase: a Purchasing Pole or Unit invites the supplier to register in the TSMS-RePro system.
  • Level 1 basic registration: The supplier completes an online approval questionnaire and CEPSA determines whether it is already approved or must go to the next level.
  • Level 2 basic registration: The supplier must provide some additional documentation to complete the approval process.
  • Level 3 (RePro): the supplier must register directly in RePro.

Registration in level 3 (RePro) involves for the supplier the payment of an annual quote to the firm Aquilles South Europe. Basic registration levels 1 & 2 are free.
