2010 Season - Basic Information
- The four races per Grand Prix will continue, two on the Saturday and two on the Sunday. Both races are known as "Championship Races", and are the same length: 45 kilometres; i.e. "long" races with 12 or 13 laps, depending on the circuit.
- Timed qualifying practices decide the starting grid for Race 1, and the results of this race decide the starting grid for Race 2. The order of the top eight positions is reversed so that the winner of Race 1 occupies the eighth position in Race 2, the runner-up occupies the seventh position, and so on, until the team that came in eighth takes "pole position".
- The scores for the first race of the each day are: 20, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2 and 1; while the scores for the second race are: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1.
- There is a podium after each race; i.e. four podiums over the course of the weekend.
- To improve the marshalls ability to identify trucks, all trucks must have their number painted in white on the windscreen opposite the driver´s side; it is also mandatory to state the number in white on the rear of the cab.
