CEPSA LUBRICANTES CONGRATULATE ITS RIDER, DANY TORRES, WORLD CHAMPION OF THE RED BULL-X-FIGHTERS 2011

Dany Torres, our freestyle rider for some years now, considered one of the top three world riders in his speciality, became World Champion at the last Red Bull X-Fighters 2011 event in Sydney in mid-September.

The rider, sponsored by CEPSA LUBRICANTES, won a very valuable third place at the last event of the championship, which took him higher in the classification than his great rival and favourite for the title, Nate Adams. The American came in 12th and lost the 40-point advantage he had over the rider from Seville.

At the events he has taken part in this season, Dany has captivated more than 200,000 spectators on four continents. Despite the difficulties of the circuits, occasional poor weather conditions and the injury to his foot, Dany has achieved the success that culminates a great season which began with triumph in Dubai, followed by a victory in Madrid and a gold medal at the X-Games.

CEPSA LUBRICANTES would like to congratulate its pilot for his first freestyle championship (the most important in the world), after coming second in 2008 and third in 2010 and we will continue our support to help him succeed in the future.
