Research: R&D&i activities, led by the Research Centre, enable production to be maximised with the lowest environmental impact, and for new fuels to be developed based on agricultural components.

Improving available technologies: In this respect, activities are carried out which are aimed at supporting production areas including exploration and production, refining, petrochemistry and the sale and development of new projects.

 

Innovation: Innovation activities are focused on manufacturing products, designing process improvements, thermal and chemical efficiency and the expansion of activities.

CEPSA and the University of Huelva

This chair is dedicated to training and research in scientific and technological fields directly related to the operations and tasks carried out by CEPSA, as well as to promoting specific agreements between CEPSA and the university concerning matters on which they have been collaborating since 1997.

CEPSA Chair at the University of Cadiz

The relationship between the University of Cadiz (UCA) and Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A. (CEPSA) goes back to 1976. Both entities seek to boost and speed up joint activities relating to scientific/technical, cultural and economic development both in Spanish territory around the border with Gibraltar, and at a provincial and regional level.

CEPSA Chair at the Polytechnic University of Madrid

This chair was created through a collaboration agreement between the Polytechnic University of Madrid and CEPSA in 2002, with the aim of improving student training at the Faculty of Mining in fields related to energy and the environment. It seeks constant updates in order to incorporate information about technological advances in the sector.

CEPSA Professorship in Energy at the University of Seville:

Created in 2010, along with the Higher Engineering College (ETSI), to promote interdisciplinary education and research, focussed on exploring the features and problems of the latest trends in production process, and the use of fuels and petroleum products.
