GENERAL INFORMATION BUNKER

CEPSA began its activities in 1929, when the Tenerife Refinery came on stream. Today CEPSA is the number one bunker supplier in Spain and one of the five leading companies in the world.

In Spain CEPSA operates directly or through its subsidiaries PETROCAN, ATLAS and CEPSA Gibraltar, in the ports of Las Palmas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Algeciras, Huelva, Ceuta and Gibraltar. Products are available at all Spanish mainland ports and are supplied by CEPSA through existing delivery arrangements with CLH. In the other spanish ports CEPSA supplies through C.L.H. In Portugal deliveries are carried out by CEPSA PORTUGUESA.

Since February 1999 CEPSA Panamá provides bunkering services in both ends of the canal, in the ports of Balboa and Cristóbal. Since April 2001 CEPSA operates in the Agadir port, in Morocco, through its subsidiary PETROSUD.

Through its INTERBUNKER department in Madrid, CEPSA arranges bunker supplies for its customers on a world-wide basis.

The wide range of products supplied by CEPSA is made by pipeline, tanker lorries or through an efficient barging service, complying with the most stringent quality standards. So, in July 1996, Bunker was awarded the !SO 9002:1994 international certification for the sales and distribution of bunker products in Spain and Gibraltar, issued by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
