Cepsa searches to reinforce the relationship with its suppliers building-up a frame of confidence and collaboration which allows to stablish stable and long term relationships.
Within this aim Cepsa puts at suppliers disposal a registration and approval system consisting in 3 levels depending on the criticality of the activity and the turnover to be contracted:
- Basic registration: only a minimum and required information has to be given in order to subscribe to the suppliers’ management system and participate in the auctions and tenders. Once the information given is validated the supplier is considered as a Valid supplier.
- Basic registration with documentation: according to the criticality of the activity performed or the products supplied, if it is considered that the suppliers have medium impact they should provide extra documentation jointly with the basic questionnaire. Once the information and the documentation given is validated the supplier is considered as a Valid supplier.
- Complete registration: for those suppliers considered as critical and/or strategic according to Cepsa criteria, a higher level of registration is needed, requiring the approval process. Once the information and the documentation given is validated and up-to-date at this higher level the supplier is considered as a Homologated supplier.
The General Terms & Conditions for the Purchase of Goods and for the Provision of Services to the Cepsa Group must be accepted in order to be considered as a valid or homologated supplier.
