- The energy firm already provides its innovative gas bottles in Tenerife and Gran Canaria
- In three years it has sold more than one million bottles across the Canary Islands
Cepsa has begun sales of its innovative gas bottles, of both butane and propane, on the island of Lanzarote, thereby expanding its area of operations, which to date had focused on Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
Cepsa has sold more than a million of its innovative, lightweight and extra-safe bottles in the Canary Islands in just three years.
Cepsa provides gas bottles right across Tenerife and Gran Canaria via its service stations and home delivery service to anywhere on the islands. Cepsa bottles will now also be available on the island of Lanzarote, where they are expected to be as popular as they have been elsewhere in the Canary Islands.
The company's extensive distribution network means users can order bottles online or by phone 24/7 at no extra cost. Cepsa also strives continuously to enhance its services by expanding its logistics network, adding new vehicles and delivery drivers, as well as building new warehouses.
The arrival of Cepsa's butane and propane bottles in Lanzarote was marked by an event held on Monday, in Teguise, attended by the Mayor, Oswaldo Betancort; the Second Vice-President of the Council of Lanzarote, Marcos Bergaz; and Cepsa Vice President, Marketing, Alvaro Díaz Bild.
Lightweight, innovative, safe and revolutionary gas bottles
Cepsa LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) bottles are 100% compatible with the butane installations found across the Canary Islands. When empty they weigh almost half as much as conventional bottles, meaning they are far lighter but can hold similar amounts of gas.
Manufactured from high-strength steel, the bottles feature a novel valve guard system that prevents gas from leaking even if the bottles are struck, while their lightweight properties make them easier to handle.
As a company committed to innovation, Cepsa uses 'Gasflow' technology to identify each unit, ensuring simple tracking for the entire life-cycle of the bottles. This makes the bottles safer and also provides insight into the gas usage of each customer, driving progress toward excellence and service quality.
LPG bottles are chiefly employed to heat water and provide cooking heat sources for households, hotels, hospitality businesses, schools and more.
The Cepsa butane and propane bottle is a product of the Company's culture and safety values, designed with both individuals and processes in mind, as well as the facility and transport services that the company provides to its customers.
