Here at Cepsa we have developed a project that, for the first time in Spain, proposes the large-scale application of artificial intelligence to human resources procedures. This initiative lays the groundwork for a major step forward in the digital transformation of the company, with a view to turning it into a cognitive enterprise.
How did we do it?
We have installed a virtual assistant that can reply to questions formulated in natural language in a few seconds, thanks to its advanced ability to analyze a large volume of data. Additionally, this assistant learns from each experience, so that its knowledge increases as it continues to receive new information and further requests.
El principal objetivo de este proyecto es complementar la atención personal al empleado con un asistente virtual que agilice y automatice las consultas que más se repiten. Gracias a esta tecnología, los gestores de recursos humanos pueden liberarse de las tareas más rutinarias y ejecutivas para poder dedicarse a gestiones que requieren un trato más cercano, personal y que aportan un valor añadido.
The result
This project promotes the digitization of knowledge in the field of human resources, optimizing the decision-taking process and making it more agile. All of this is being implemented from a more aware and reinforced data-driven base, thanks to the traceability that the new technology allows for in data analysis.
In addition, the platform will make it possible to learn more about our staff’s areas of interest and preoccupations, which will help us to attend to their needs in a more personalized and more targeted way.
